Interested in playing derby? Don't know where to start? We've got you covered. As with any sport you have to start from the ground up. Our veteran trainers will teach you everything you need to know to start playing derby such as; basic skating techniques, how to be safe and prevent injury, and last but not least game play! Our program runs about 20 weeks, practicing twice a week on Sunday and Thursday nights.

STEP TWO

Shop for gear! Visit our recommended shops to try on skates and padding. Browse online vendors for deals and sales. Contact us, we may have second hand gear vets are looking to sell or pass along.

Every season after our newest skaters who have passed their skills testing they participate in The Fresh and Furious, an annual tournament hosted by Hogtown Roller Derby in Toronto, ON. This tournament is open exclusively to skaters who have been skating less than a year. 

This past July our newest skaters took on FnF along side six other skaters from Niagara Roller Derby & Lansing Derby Vixens and made it through four rounds of game play. Here are a few highlights from the tournament. Photos from Jammer Line:
